My dad always used to say I’d make a good teacher - I think it was mostly because he thought I was bossy! But it never appealed to me. You are very brave. I did used to run a little after school art club for years 5&6 (maybe 4 too). That’s 8-11 year olds. I didn’t find it easy - though there were great moments like when we did a final display in the corridor. Anyway - here we have had little glimmers of sun but cold easterly’s keeping it cold since last weekend. There have been some good moments - however, after 5 months and thinking I was finally in the clear, I just started yet another period. On Tuesday I had my mammogram and that was really painful. But I told the nurse practitioner that I was hopeful I’d stopped now. Argh. And - the worst part is that my daughter and I are going away this weekend for a family birthday and it will coincide with the heavy flow cramps and exhaustion :(. Such bloomin typical timing. I’ve also been having some rages - mostly while driving and witnessing stupid or selfish people. Anyway - I will make the best of the weekend change of scene and it’ll be so good to see my sister and birth father and his wife. And I may collapse a little on Sunday night and Monday. So glad the saw was only thrown at the floor!!!
I actually love teaching for the most part. I’ve taught babies to my oldest student at the amazing age of 83. One of the hardest things has been teaching maths in Swedish. Most of my teaching now is in Swedish because of where I live! I soldier on, nails flying and saws being tossed 😅🤪
What a crazy week you've had! I'm also feeling you on the menopause. I'm up four times a night lately. 🤦🏽♀️
